Thermal Desorption solves environmental remediation problems by using either direct or indirect heat to vaporize organic contaminants from soil, sludge, or sediment. Through this process, contaminants go from a liquid to a vapor phase and are separated from the solid material. Specialty gas collection equipment captures the contaminated vapors either to be condensed back into a liquid phase to reclaim or sent through a secondary form of treatment like carbon adsorption, catalytic conversion, or chemical oxidation. RECON has direct fired and indirect fired thermal desorption capabilities.

Based on the recycling potential of the waste, our knowledge and experience allows us to find the most economical means of thermal treatment.
