  • Soil remediation, one discipline within the broader scope of environmental remediation, is the process of decontaminating soil. RECON is an industry leader in soil and sludge stabilization and solidification.
  • A secant wall is used in deep foundations in situations where the surface soil layers are unstable.
  • Among the processes used in soil remediation, excavation and dredging are among the most common. The process involves extracting unrecoverable contaminated soil.
  • Secant pile walls are one of the most economical methods of creating effective water control barriers for building structural walls, top-down tunnels and dams.
  • Deep Soil Mixing is a in-situ soil improvement technology used to construct cutoff or retaining walls and to treat contaminated soils.
  • This sludge pond is a good candidate for bio remediation or stabilization.
  • RECON's excavator is capable of digging a slurry wall up to 100 ft deep. Slurry walls have been used for decades to provide cost-effective, long-term solutions for many groundwater control problems.
  • Soil remediation project using remote placement conveyor.
  • Driving concrete pile to strengthen and support structural foundations.
  • Slurry wall construction is used to create non-structural barriers (Cutoff Walls, Slurry Trenches), which are constructed underground to impede groundwater flow.

In The News

RECON Oil Field Services, a division of Remedial Construction Services, L.P., held an open house demonstrating innovative environmental remediation and recycling technologies. KUMV, the local NBC station in Williston, North Dakota reported the event.

Recon Oil Field Services technologies offer solutions to many of the environmental issues the energy companies face in the Bakken Shale formation. The demonstration included globally proven technologies capable of creating beneficial use products out of materials which are commonly considered waste.

Remedial Construction Services L.P. (RECON) is an environmental and geotechnical company that was founded in 1989 to cater to the Gulf Coast petrochemical industry"s growing need for hazardous waste remediation, soil remediation, and groundwater remediation in the light of increasingly stringent environmental regulations. Since that time, RECON has become a national leader in soil remediation, groundwater remediation, slurry wall construction and jet grouting, as well as all traditional remediation services. Welcome to RECON

Remedial Construction Services, L.P. (RECON) is a national environmental remediation, geotechnical construction, and civil construction contractor founded in 1989. We are a national leader in the field of environmental remediation services, including soil and groundwater remediation, soil stabilization and solidification, landfill cell construction, permeable reactive barriers, biopolymer trenches and demolition of hazardous waste sites.

Our geotechnical division specializes in the construction of underground barriers such as slurry cutoff walls, slurry diaphragm walls, soil mixing and deep soil mixing, secant walls and jet grouting.

Our civil services division specializes in site preparation, excavations, earthwork construction, soil and sludge stabilization, site development and concrete work.

ENR Top Remediation Contractor (since 1997) RECON has completed over 2,500

Soil Remediation, Groundwater Remediation, In-Situ Bioremediation, Slurry Walls, Permeable Reactive Barrier Wall, Jet Grouting, Deep Soil Mixing, Cap and Cell Construction, and Hazardous Demolition and Decontamination projects.
