PPG – Lake Charles, LA Effluent Canal Remediation ‐ Remediation of organic and heavy metal impacted soil & sediment. Project involves; dredging, capping, stabilization/solidification, levee construction, and sheet pile installation. Specialty equipment/techniques include; Marsh Buggy excavation, hydraulic dredging, and use of cofferdam.

Brunswick Wood Preserving Superfund – Brunswick, GA Slurry Walls – Installation of 2 soil/bentonite slurry walls (5400 FT x 70 FT deep total). Trenches are being installed by 2 Koehring 1466 excavators capable of reaching depths of approximately 100 feet bgs. Additionally, 2 Manitowoc cranes with 10 ton chisels are being utilized.

Motiva Enterprises – Port Arthur, TX Stabilization/ Capping of Alligator Bayou Sediments – Construction of 35,000 CY of clay levees, stabilization of 160,000 CY impacted sediment, excavation, and consolidation of 275,000 CY of stabilized sediment, and construction of 85,000 CY of clay cap. The 2.3‐mile bayou, which runs through the middle of the refinery will be dewatered and remediated in reaches. The northern and southern ends of the bayou will be turned into impoundments.

Chevron – Guadalupe, CA Large Scale Soil Remediation – 4 year project involving disposition of over 1 million CY of impacted soil. Loading, transportation and disposal of 500,000 CY of previously stockpiled soil and excavation, loading, transportation and disposal of 500,000 CY of hydrocarbon impacted soil from extremely sensitive coastal areas. Excavations require extensive shoring and dewatering with numerous stakeholders and agencies involved.

Total – Port Arthur, TX Site Preparation ‐ Scope includes; concrete demolition, placement of 113,000 CY compacted fill, 25,000 CY of crushed stone, stabilization of 315,000 CY of marsh/soil/dredge spoil material, 320,000 SF of geogrid installation, installation of 24‐IN, 60‐IN, and 66-IN CMP storm water pipe, and box culverts.

City of Jacksonville – Jacksonville, NC Slurry Wall – Installation of soil/bentonite slurry wall (9,000 FT x 10 FT deep).

CBS – Charlotte, NC PCB Remediation – Decontamination and demolition of metal building, concrete slab, and asphalt apron. Excavation of PCB impacted soils, backfill, replacement of concrete and asphalt.

Chevron – Santa Maria, CA Sump Remediation – Excavation, transportation and disposal of over 156,000 CY of petroleum impacted soil from 3 different locations. Also, removal of over 45,000 LF of abandoned pipeline. These projects are being performed under our alliance contract with Chevron EMC.

PCS – Rocanville, Saskatchewan Deep Slurry Wall – Installation of one of the largest soil/bentonite slurry walls ever constructed. Wall is 8 miles long, 82 FT to 180 FT deep, and will take 4 years to complete. RECON will use owned equipment including; two Koehring 1466 excavators, two 100 ton Liebherr 855 hydraulic clams, two 100 ton Cable Clam Cranes, two 10 ton chisels, and one Hitachi excavator.
