Richard Jordan is Senior Vice President of Business Development for Remedial Construction Services, L.P. (RECON). He is responsible for the further development of RECON’s portfolio of regional and national accounts, developing and implementing growth strategies, revenue and earnings growth, and managing the company’s Business Development group.
Mr. Jordan has more than 27 years of experience in industrial construction and operations. He joins RECON after a successful tenure as Vice President of Houston Operations at Yates Constructors where he oversaw projects in the specialty chemical, petrochemical, and oil and gas industries. There he started a new operating office in Houston to expand Yates’ Process business unit. He was responsible for all operations in the Process business unit as well as safety, estimating, business development, profit and loss, project controls, and human resources.
Previously, he was Director of Construction Operations Southern Region for Jacobs where he was responsible for all construction operations for the Southern Region Heavy Process Construction organization. In this role he oversaw projects in the oil and gas and petrochemical industries. There he managed the development of resources and processes for staff and was responsible for all aspects of the construction work, including project management, safety, quality, and technical services support functions.
Prior to Jacobs, Mr. Jordan was Director of Operations for Fluor Power Services where he oversaw project operations on maintenance and capital projects, including boiler and BOP maintenance outages and pollution control retrofits for coal-fired power plants. While at Fluor he developed proposals and execution strategies, selected project teams, and managed all aspects of project execution.
Mr. Jordan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&I University and completed the Construction Industry Institute’s Executive Leadership Program.
